Tilda With Winter Flowers

Missed me??
Don't worry.. I'm still here..
It's just that things are not as they are supposed to be lately..
I hope I will have a much better year in 2014.. Seriously..

Fortunately I got some time to play with my beloved Maggies today..
I grabbed one of my old Tilda's but I didn't feel this was enough so I thought I could do something different..
Here is my first ever CD card..
Yes.. You're right..
I thought it would be nice to do some recycling.. LOL!
I got the idea from my Magnolia DT teammate Camilla H. One of the most talented ladies in blogland..

This is my Tilda With Winter Flowers from the Sweet Christmas Dreams Collection 2011..
All the DP's on this card are from Maja Design..
The Photo Corners are made with a Quickutz die..
The doily is from my stash..

There are lots of flowers here.. Some from Wild Orchid Crafts, some from I Am Roses, some from a candy I won a while ago..
The Swirl is a Magnolia Doohickey die and it's covered with Shabby White Frantage..
There's some cheesecloth under the flowers and the gorgeous pink lace with rhinestones on the left..
The pearls are from WOC and Rayher..

Here's the inside..
A sentiment on the left and some blank space on the right to write your greeting..
All the papers are distressed and machine sewn..

This doily was made with a Cheery Lynn die..
The sentiment is from Stempelglede..
The postmarks are from Kort & Godt..

I've used my Spellbinders Ovals and Scalloped Ovals twice..
Don't you love this heart doily??
And the La-La Land Filigree Corners are spectacular..
The little flowers are made with a Doohickey die too..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
I've added some Frantage around the image too..
The flowers are covered with Frosted Lace Stickles..
The highlights on her cheeks are made with an Inkssentials White Opaque Pen..

Here's the back of the card..
My personalized stamp in the center and the Doily Doohickey under..
I've also used my favourite border die - Old Swedish Lace..

And that's it..
It's nice to make something different, isn't it?
Please let me know what you think..

Hugs, Tina

Prima Ballerina Tilda

Hi guys!
I thought I would show you a non-Christmas project today..

I just had to use a new stamp I got..
Yes.. That's Prima Ballerina Tilda from the Little Circus Moscow Collection 2013..

There's a new Magnolia Doohickey too..
The new swirl is just stunning and I covered it with a little bit of Frantage!!
Here are some gorgeous Wild Orchid Flowers..
I've added some cheese cloth under them to add some texture..

I can't imagine my life without the Vintage Seam Binding anymore.. LOL!
I've used the Spellbinders Decorative Labels Eight to cut out the image..
I've also added a small Bark Heart on the right with a small rose on..
The tags are made with the Tilda Tag Doohickey..

I've used some papers from the Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics 6x6 Paper Pad..
I've used once again my GoKreate dies for the card's shape..
The paper edges are distressed using a Tim Holtz tool and then inked with some Walnut Stain..
They are machine sewn too..
The Prima Wooden Lock is fabulous, isn't it?
It's covered with gesso..

The right side with some more gorgeous flowers and that pin that I love so much..
Lots of pearls..
My favourite lace..
There's a doily too..
I've added some Crackle Paint and some gesso here and there..

Here's a close up..
Of course I had to add a key that opens the lock..
I really love charms and I just can't stop adding them to my projects..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
I've added some Shabby White Frantage around the image too..
I use an Inkssentials White Opaque Pen for the highlights..

Sooooooo...
I think that's it..
I hope I didn't forget anything..

Be sure to come back in a few hours cos' I have an amazing surprise for you..

Big hugs,
Tina

Show The Way Tilda and Baby Rudolf

Hello there!
I love this time of the year and this card was inspired by this Christmas song:
Bing Crosby - White Christmas..
My card is pink but there's a lot of  'snow' on it..

I had to use my brand new Maja Design Vintage Frost Basics papers cos' they are just amazing..
The image is coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers and the shade around it is made with those too..
I really love the effect of Frantage on a coloured base and I just had to use the Liquid Applique again..
It looks like real snow..

I've used my new Spellbinders Marvelous Squares to cut out the image..
The two tags on the left are made with a Magnolia Doohickey die called Tilda Tag..
There's some Vintage Seam Binding on them and I've used Chunky White Frantage on one and Shabby White Frantage on the other..

I just love all these gorgeous WOC and Kort & Godt flowers.. They are simply fantastic..
And the heart doily is so sweet, isn't it?

Here are some more flowers, Magnolia berries and the super cute pine cone..
I've added some pearls and all the paper edges are distressed with a Tim Holtz tool and then inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink..
All the edges are also machine sewn..

I've added two different laces.. One's got some rhinestones on.. That looks really great..
Love them both!!
And there's some Frantage on the papers and some Gesso and Crackle Paint too..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper..
These two are called Show The Way Tilda and Show The Way Baby Rudolf and they are from the Winter Wonderland Collection 2013..
I've used the following Distress Inks to colour the images:
Weathered Wood
Vintage Photo
Tattered Rose
Antique Linen
Walnut Stain
Victorian Velvet
Pumice Stone
Black Soot

That's it folks..
I really hope you enjoyed and I'd love to hear what you think of it..

Jingle Bell Rudolf

Hi everyone,
Here I am with a White Shabby Christmas creation..

I love white on white but I find it quite challenging..
I've also decided to play with lots of layers and different textures..

I've used a gorgeous sheet of Magnolia paper this time..
The card's shape was made using a GoKreate die..
The Snowflake border is a Tim Holtz die.. I'm sure you recognize it..
The doily is from my stash..

Here's a close up of the gorgeous Magnolia Vintage Angel and the ton of sprays and flowers around him..
There are the Poppies, Carnations, Chrysantemums, Open Roses, Hip Rosebuds, Cherry Blossoms..
There's some gorgeous lace there and the Pearl Lace With Beads but they are almost completely covered with all the other embellies..
The Swirl is a Magnoila Doohickey and so is the Snowflake.. I'm not sure you can see it.. It's hidden under all those flowers..

And yes.. Here are some more flowers..
The Lilies, Wild Roses, Cosmos Daisies and even some Frosted Berries..
These Vintage Wood Bird Cages are just amazing..
I've covered this one with Gesso and Crackle Paint and I've added a little bow and two cute Bells on it..
There's another Snowflake under this bunch of flowers and the Angel Wing Magnolia die..
All the die-cuts are covered with Shabby White Frantage..
The pearls are a must and so are the distressing and stitching on all the paper edges..

Well.. Can you see the lace now? I love it!
An the Pearl String around the image??
The image was cut out with a Spellbinders Oval and the frame under it is a die from Marianne Design..
There's some Corrugated Cardboard under there and it's covered with Crackle Paint..
There's some cheesecloth here and there and some Gesso and Crackle Paint too..
I've used the Frantage around the image too but I've also added some Liquid Applique..
The bells are covered with Stickles..

This is Jingle Bell Rudolf from the Winter Wonderland Collection 2013..
The Christmas Background stamp is from the So Jolly & Under The Mistletoe Collection 2009..
They are both stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton aquarel paper and then coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
I've used just a few colours for this one:
Weathered Wood
Pumice Stone
Tattered Rose
Antique Linen
Walnut Stain
Aged Mahogany
Scattered Straw
Wild Honey

That's it folks..
I just want to remind you that there's still time to enter my CANDY! What are you waiting for??

Thanks for stopping by!

Little Cute Tilda

Hi everyone!
Since I haven't made a baby card for ages I thought I would make a book card for a little girl..

I have to warn you.. This one is picture heavy.. ;)

Of course I've used a Magnolia stamp.. I'm obsessed with them.. LOL!
This is Little Cute Tilda from the Special Moment Collection 2013..
The papers are from Pion Design - Sweet Baby Collection..

I use Magnolia dies on almost every project cos' they are simply gorgeous..
I've used the Heart Tag Doohickey on this one..
The butterflies are made with a Martha Stewart mold and some FIMO Air..
The image was cut out with one of the Spellbinders Opulent Ovals..

Charms are one of my obsessions and this Baby Pram is soooo cute..
But I had to add another charm inside too..
Take a closer look cos' it's well hidden..
I use a lot of Crackle Paint and Gesso on my projects..
And cheese cloth is pretty common too..

Take a look at all these gorgeous WOC flowers.. And the angel..
I've added  some Tulle Pleat Trim under them..
And have you seen the gorgeous effect Frantage gives around the image??
I have placed an Ornate Oval (a Sizzix die) under all those layers..

Then there's some lace, and some Shabby Seam Binding, and the Mini Sewing Spools..
And of course lots of pearls all over the place..
I've used a Martha Stewart punch for the borders..

The image is stamped with Archival Ink on 300g Langton Aquarel paper and coloured with Distress Inks and reinkers..
The colours:
Weathered Wood
Vintage Photo
Tattered Rose
Antique Linen
Walnut Stain
Pumice Stone
Peeled Paint
I've added some Stickles on the sleeves..

Here's the inside.. With tons of flowers, lace and that amazing Bark Heart..
The tickets are from the Pion Design Sweet Baby collection too..

Did you find the other charm??
It's the Baby Dummy tucked between all those flowers..
The heart under the flowers was made with the Classic Heart and Classic Scalloped Heart Spellbinders ..

That's how the back of the card looks like..
Someone was asking me about that lately..
I don't usually decorate the back but I always put my Limited Edition stamp on my cards..

That's it for today! I really hope you enjoyed!
If there's something you'd like to know just ask..

Hugs, Tina
